Location: 144th and Center, Satellite clinics within Omaha Metro
Excellent opportunity to join an established ENT and Audiology/Hearing aid dispensing practice! We are looking for a new Audiology program manager at our Omaha office. This position has a great schedule and excellent compensation package, including 401K, health insurance, with additional life/dental insurance availability. The position allows for a large amount of autonomy while providing hearing care and treatment options to patients.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Performs a wide range of routine audiological tests, as necessary, to determine the type and extent of vestibular and/or hearing disorders, proper referrals, and appropriate follow-up services.
- Works in conjunction with Ear Nose and Throat physicians to coordinate patient care.
- Performs Aural Rehabilitation including appropriate assistive device services, per patient needs.
- Provides hearing aid dispensing and services to primarily adult population.
- Provides patient care and education according to the patient’s needs.
- Provides management of other staff audiologists and coordinates with practice administrator regarding management and office duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Clinical Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an ETB accredited college or university required. (A strong M.A. candidate will be considered)
- Minimum of one year of practical experience in the area of audiology required.
- Knowledge and understanding of hearing disorders for patients of all ages required.
- Eligible for Nebraska state licensing, within (3) three months of hire required.
