Our Providers are also involved with ENT education from med student to resident, PA to NP students and more. We work hard to make sure our doctors spend a real amount of time with you, but we also want you to feel like we are available when you need us.  

Stanley H. Schack, M.D.

Dr. Stanley Schack has been a practicing ENT physician in Omaha since 1988. He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL for his undergraduate studies and then graduated with his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical School. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and then returned to his hometown of Omaha to practice. Dr. Schack has strong ties to the community in Omaha and treats patients at two locations in Omaha as well as an outreach clinic in Blair. He is particularly interested in functional endoscopic and minimally invasive sinus surgery. He is also one of the first ENT physicians in Omaha to offer Eustachian tube dilation surgery. Dr. Schack treats all general ENT conditions as well and has patients of all ages.

Samuel M. Medaris, M.D.

Dr. Medaris is originally from Jacksonville, Illinois, and grew up in the St. Louis, MO area. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1999 and graduated with a degree in medicine from the same university in 2003. Dr. Medaris completed his Otolaryngology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2008. Prior to joining Midwest Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic, P.C. (now Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants, LLC) in the summer of 2012, Dr. Medaris was active duty in the United States Air Force and practiced Otolaryngology at Offutt Air Force Base. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery and is a former chapter president of the Christian Medical & Dental Association. Furthermore, Dr. Medaris is active in the Omaha community. He has served as a deacon at Hope Community Church and aided them in developing their Iron Men Men’s Ministry as well as their EarlyChildhood Ministry. Dr. Medaris also volunteers as a ringside physician for USA Amateur boxing. While Dr. Medaris performs a full realm of otolaryngology/head and neck surgeries such as thyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, ear drum repair, sleep apnea surgery, and tonsillectomy surgery, he is particularly interested in functional endoscopic sinus surgery and minimally invasive procedures such as balloon sinuplasty to restore natural sinus drainage.

Jessica Moran-Hansen, M.D.

Dr. Hansen is a Nebraska native, being born in Nebraska City. She received a degree in Biochemisty from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln before she was accepted for early admission to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She received her medical doctorate with distinction. She then completed her Otolaryngology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident her last year. Dr. Hansen provides a full range of otolaryngology services. She is especially interested in the treatment of pediatric ENT disorders as well as chronic sinus and nasal disorders in patients of any age. She is trained in minimally invasive procedures such as balloon sinuplasty. She is also one of the first ENT physicians in Nebraska to be certified for the Latera® implant  and was the first ENT physician in Nebraska to do a Sinuva® implant

Gerald B Simons, M.D.

Dr. Simons joined Midwest, Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic (now Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants, LLC) in 1978. He is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist by the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and is a local member of the Metro Omaha Medical Society and the Nebraska Medical Society. Dr. Simons graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School in 1974 and completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1978. He joined Midwest ENT following completion of his residency. Dr. Simons enjoys taking care of patients of all ages and sees patients with all ENT problems including, but not limited to: swimmer’s ear, ear wax removal, ear tubes, LPR or acid reflux to the throat, sinus infections, and allergies.

Beki Garrett, PA-C

Beki graduated in 2005 from Union College in Lincoln with her under graduate degree and in 2008 with her Master of Physician Assistant degree also from Union College. She worked in ENT in Lincoln for 5 years prior to moving back to Omaha and has experience in all aspects of ENT medicine from ear cleanings, hearing loss, and dizziness or vertigo, to sinus infections, allergies, and nosebleeds, to throat problems. Beki joined Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants at the end of December 2015. She is from the Omaha area originally and moved to Lincoln when she married. She returned to the Omaha area in 2014 where she lives with her husband and their two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, wood crafts, home decorating and vacationing at the beach.

Rachel Bringewatt, A.U.D.

Dr. Bringewatt has practiced both diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology for 14 years. She grew up in the mid-west; completed her undergraduate degree and then graduated suma cum laude with her master’s degree at Wichita State University in Wichita Kansas in 2004. She completed her clinical fellowship training in Houston Texas and stayed to practice for seven years after. She graduated magna cum laude with her doctorate in Audiology in 2010 from Salus University, Eklins Park PA. In 2012, Dr. Bringewatt moved back to the mid-west and to Omaha where most of her family now resides. She has practiced in vestibular diagnostic/rehabilitative clinics here in Omaha as well as in Educational Audiology. She joined ENT Consultants in June of 2018. Dr. Bringewatt has interest in preventative and rehabilitative audiology and desires to both protect and conserve hearing as well as treat and manage hearing loss and tinnitus. She also has a particular interest in vestibular and balance testing and treatment and preventing falls in the aging population. She has three children and enjoys time with them and their Boxer, Mack.
